Prompt – Why are you interested in cybersecurity technology?

I am interested in cybersecurity technology because I believe that the cyber industry has major job growth in its future. I know many people who are currently employed by different government agencies for cyber, as well as two cyber related business owners, and they also tell me the same thing. I had my first job when I was thirteen years old, and I am currently eighteen. I have many years of experience in “blue collar” work, and I also have multiple certifications in HVAC. Up until about a year or two ago, I was set on starting my own contracting company, but I was advised about how difficult it would be on my body in the long run. I was also always interested in finance, and I have made over five hundred percent returns by day trading, but it is such an unstable source of income. Most jobs in the finance field are also very shaky, as if you lose money on trades for a big company, they will most likely replace you in an instant. On the other hand, cyber is an industry that will only become more important as society continues on. I believe that if I pursue a career in the cyber field, that I will never have to worry about finding a job. I think this class is a great way to learn more about the ins and outs that you see in the business, as well as a great way to expand my knowledge before applying for internships. I look forward to studying the material this class has to offer, and hopefully I can translate what I learn into real work scenarios. Hopefully, I will also pick up skills that will help me in future cyber related courses, since so far, most of the ones I have taken seem quite intertwined with one another.
