I am interested in cybersecurity for a few reasons. I love computers, I know it would be a great opportunity for me, and also I know I can apply it to more than just my job. All of these reasons give me a sense of fulfillment therefore I’m interested in getting a job in this field. The tech field is a booming field that has no signs of slowing down. I know it is complex and difficult sometimes, however, I know it is all worth it in the long run.

Cyber has interested me because I love computers and technology. Ever since I was a kid I would always explore the internet. I would do more than just play games, I would also try to hack passwords, infiltrate other networks, and see if I could make my computer more powerful. Cybersecurity is definitely a part of this. It would be amazing if I could get a job protecting networks and practicing infiltrating my own.

The great thing about cyber and tech jobs, in general, is that there is almost an everlasting need for them. This is important to me because there are many opportunities not only as a student who graduated but great opportunities for a student in college or even in high school. Also when it comes to cyber you can work pretty much anywhere. From a cyber firm to a video game company, to the government. Everyone needs some form of cybersecurity therefore there are so many job opportunities.

Finally, I know that I can use cybersecurity in more than just my job. I can apply this study to my everyday life. The practice of cyber hygiene is important to me. Learning more about cybersecurity can help me and my family be more aware of cyber threats. These are the reasons why I am interested in cybersecurity.
