Ethical considerations of CRISPR gene editing:

The first major ethical consideration to me would be data security. This is due to the information from bio-cybersecurity or biohacking could be accessed and would in theory be a direct monitor of the person it entails actions. Another would be hacking itself, we already have biohacking used in society daily in the use of mechanical hearts . So if say a user doesn’t pay on his loan for his mechanical heart they could turn it off from afar. Or even worse, a hacker could use their very mechanical heart against a user for ransom! The last would be the responsibility that comes in mind with innovation of biohacking. It would have to be properly moderated so that people don’t become to extreme.

Opportunities for Workplace Deviance:

Cyber tech has made plenty of opportunities for workplace deviance because of things such as anonymity and the ease of circulation of information. Some versions of workplace deviance include things such as employees using their employers internet for things  like shopping and surfing the internet. Not all of these incidents are neutral in effect however, some can even be negative in nature due to things such as using VPN’s to cover their tracks and sandboxing operating systems for ease of destruction of evidence. This can go hand in hand with the subject of time theft as people can be on the clock being paid but in the meantime they are not doing their job at all. Or if they are doing their job it is only when their supervisor is nearby so they can seem as if they are being productive.

The “Short Arm” of Predictive Knowledge:

In order to approach the development of cyber-policy in relation to the short arm of predictive knowledge we must take a proactive and flexible approach to creating cyber policy itself. This way we can develop proper ways to mitigate risk and strengthen the defenses we already have installed against the new threats and challenges that are created due to the limited predictability we face. By intertwining flexibility and collaboration between organizations, we can properly plot our way through the ever changing cyber landscape in a safe manner.
