I don’t think entrepreneurship is either an art or a science. It’s honestly what that personal user makes it out to be. There are so many variables and situations that can occur to label it one or another, and if you are asking me, I think it’s more of a mindset than either subject. Entrepreneurship is something that doesn’t must happen overnight. You have to work at it every day and have to constantly be forward thinking in order to progress towards personal goals and not stay stagnant. I learned in a previous class about interdisciplinary studies that one of the best ways to look at it is to think of a smoothie. There isn’t a perfect smoothie with certain ingredients. Different fruits at different ratios work different for different people, you just have to constantly work at finding that sweet spot for whoever is going to drink it. I look at entrepreneurship in a similar way, you can’t base too many decisions off of a science, because you lose that personal value of feelings, when you just look at the raw data, and the same goes for art because sometimes that data does not lie, and you have to make that tough choice. It’s more of a category on its own because all of the other discipline can have a unique effect in the overall picture.
