The connections between the disciplines addressing entrepreneurship at ODU is very similar in how they approach a lot of their curriculum, which is interdisciplinary in nature. Going into different topics and looking at it from an interdisciplinary perspective allows people to look encounter new methods to engage with potential problems that may arise. Implementing that ideal when it comes to entrepreneurship is only going to make these new business owners that much more effective when it comes to making decisions and conducting research. For example, looking at things from a psychology disciplinary perspective allows the user to see the effects certain decisions may have on other personnel, whereas the economic perspective may not even account for that. Giving yourself options is always a benefit when it comes to making decisions, and its one of the things I like most about ODU; they preach interdisciplinary mindset and challenge students to go outside of the personal comfort zone.
