I think my personal experience is one of my strengths when it comes to pitching. I spent a lot of years in the military, and I learned how to put service before self. I understand that it is not about me but what I can do for the people around me. I think with that mindset comes a lot of humility and sincerity which will put people at east and wanting to know more. Another strength is that I do not mind public speaking. A lot of technically sound people are often times not the most social, and again because of my experiences and the places that I have been, I have a lot of experience communicating with large number of people and am not intimidated by it. One of my weaknesses that I am aware that I have is that I don’t concern myself with closing. I have to be more aware that at the end of the day I am pitching a product for sales, and I have to use the traditional ABC model (Always be closing) in order to get my sale. I think I struggle with being to nonchalant and not really caring at the end of the day if people want to buy my services at the end of the day, and I understand how that can drastically affect the venture that I am in.
