As we know in our present world the technology is extremely important to protect us and serves a greater purpose as well. It is extremely important for businesses to have a Cyber Security division. It ensures that the company is protected from simple things such as human error from greater issues such as hackers trying to steal sensitive data. With setting up a cyber security program it can be costly, and something that most businesses can not afford. Especially if it’s a small business that is why it is rare for them to have a cyber division, but that also comes with the risk of them being the main target for hackers. Once the costs are met the cyber security comes and installs their system into the businesses program. This is also a reason why bigger companies like to have their own cyber division so they don’t have to spend as much money on installing the program. They would rather just pay the employees in the cyber division that work for them. Before they do purchase this program the company itself would have to do some research on what kind of cyber program they would need. This can depend on what the company believes is at most risk to make sure they protect their asset the best they can. The second cost would be after the program is installed they need to train their cyber employees on how to effectively use the program. It could be a separate cost as well to hire an outside teacher, but overall it will take time to teach. The employees themself would need a couple weeks to learn, function, and adapt to the new program and also to make sure while they are learning that they are not leaving themselves at risk of cyber attack. The final cost would be upkeep. Upkeep is very important as the company needs to make sure that the program is updated at all times, especially when newer versions of the program come out. This will ensure that the company’s system is at its best. Over all Cyber security programs may be costly, but that cost can cover a companies information from being stolen.
