As we know Cyber security networks can always be refined to make sure it is safer for the users. What is a Cyber Network? It ensures the safety of internet connected systems like software, hardware, and data from being taken by cyberattacks. Cyber networks also keep in contact with the users to understand how they were attacked so in the future they can make those changes to make sure that would not happen again. With engineers they make cyber networks safer by making better and newer cyber networks, by doing this makes it harder for people who are not authorized to gain access. With the update engineers and cyber security individuals can find the weakness in the cyber network, fix the issue and insure the users of the network are safe and secured. Engineers are a main priority for us Cyber security individuals because they are always attempting to improve the cyber networks, due to cyber security becoming more advanced everyday. Cyberattacks are getting more advanced and commonly occurring which is unfortunate, but if we cyber security majors and engineers work together we can help improve our cyber networks, be prepared for attacks, and make sure our users are in safe hands.
How does criminal justice overlap with cyber crime? Criminal justice is the study of law enforcement, criminal behavior, the American court system, behavior, and psychology. Cybercrime is defined by the activity of criminals online targeting users’ computers and networks. Examples of this are phishing, fraud, credit card scams, and much more. As we know with both there are individuals that commit crimes based on the background they come from poor areas that don’t have proper resources so they resort to crime. They relate to other disciplines such as Cyber criminology is the study of internet crimes and criminal behavior using computer science and criminology. They study the activity of these individuals to understand why they would commit online crime. They all are beneficial for us, because they help keep our users and people safe.
