Cybersecurity analysts are professional individuals responsible for protecting an organization’s computer systems, networks, data from security breaches, cyber attacks, and unauthorized access. Their primary role is to identify vulnerabilities in an organization’s IT infrastructure, assess risks, and develop strategies to remove those risks. The job of a cybersecurity analyst connects with how people work together and help each other to reach shared goals, like how we cooperate in our communities. Also, these analysts teach others how to stay safe online, which shows how important it is for everyone to understand how to use the internet securely. This points to a bigger issue: making sure everyone knows how to be safe online and how education can help with that. So, being a cybersecurity analyst involves dealing with these social issues and concerns, reflecting what matters to society as a whole in today’s digital world.
