Maslow’s hierarchy of needs describes the hierarchical nature of human’s. The hierarchy is a pyramid with five levels, form the most basic to more complex needs at the top. The five levels withing it are are physiological needs which is things needed for human survival, safety needs, love and belongingness needs, Esteem needs, self-actualization need is the realization after all needs are meet then they desire to become the best they can be. Furthermore, to relate this with my technology experiences is not to difficult because of how technology is engrained in our life. For phycological needs personally i don’t think I need any technology for survival, however if you want to say the closest thing i would say a phone or device that can connect with people is almost a need now in days. This is a need so you can connect with people or do things with people far way so there is no need to travel just to talk. Safety needs, there are many saftey needs withing technology. For example, I hve passwords set on most of my apps and notes so I can keep them safe from others. Love and Belongingness needs, for an example of this you could bring up social media. For most people and even me when they post on social media they look for the most likes they can get, and the more that number the more loved it makes them feel. Esteem needs, this could use the social media example as well. When I post also get a lot of self esteem from those posts if they get a lot of likes and positive remarks. However if they do not then it could possable lower self esteem. Self-actualization needs, this example you can talk about working in the technology indrustry. Where I work I have learned most the stuff I can for the postion, so now im just working twards certifications, and working on bettering my skills so I can grow and become better.
