Compare cybersecurity risks in the U.S. and another country.

Cyber security risks are different depending where in the world you go. The reason being is that some countries are much better protected than others so some forms of cyber threats only apply to countries that don’t have as strong of a security system set up. Some ways to identify whether a country has a strong system in place is too look at some statistics. Some effective things to look at would be looking at the percentage of mobile devices infected with malware, the percentage of computers infected with malware, the number of financial malware attacks used to steal a user’s money from the bank account on their computer system, and the countries with the most up-to-date legislation. The country that I will compare to the U.S. will be Algeria, which is a country with notoriously bad cyber crime rates. For example in the U.S. we have systems and organizations in place to help defend against cyber threats. One federal agency that the United States has is the Cybersecurity and infrastructure security agency (CISA), this is a standalone federal agency, it is a branch or subdivision of the Department of homeland security. Its operations consist of working with partners to defend against today’s threats and collaborating to build more secure and resilient infrastructure for the future. This alone is our federal agency, and their is many private corporations with the same goal as well in America . Comparing that to Algeria which has one of the current weakest defenses against cyber crime in the world. Recently Algeria has been faces with many cyber attacks and it is now considered a national priority in Algeria to defend better against cyber threats. It is safe to say that the risks in America are far less common and dangerous and the reason being is because America has many more forms of defense being federal and private industries, while Algeria is in the early stages of setting up a national defense against cyber crime.
