I\u2019m entering my sophomore year at Old Dominion University, pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity. I was attracted to this field of study because of my interest in technology and my desire to help protect individuals and organizations from being targeted by escalating cyber attacks.<br>In my initial year, I set a solid computing and security concept foundation, and I am eager to continue honing my skills by means of practical coursework, labs, and upcoming certifications. My areas of specific interest are ethical hacking, network security, and computer forensics.<br>As I continue along my way at ODU, I look forward to networking with others, engaging in research or internships, and becoming ready for a successful career in the rapidly evolving profession of cybersecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to my academic pursuits, I\u2019ve earned certifications in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Edge, demonstrating my proficiency with essential productivity and browser tools. The PowerPoint certification reflects a strong mastery of creating, formatting, and delivering professional presentations\u2014a valuable skill in both academic and professional contexts.<br><br>I also have hands-on experience in the coding field, which has enhanced my logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and understanding of key programming concepts\u2014a critical set of skills for pursuing cybersecurity.
