The risks of cybersecurity is extremely higher higher in the U.S. in any other country in my opinion, one of the most popular ways of creating crime is through cyber attacks, we hear many times of scams online and fraud voicemails. The United States also has a reputation of having very wealthy people, which gives citizens all over the nation a international target on their backs, leaving us vulnerable to find loses in credit, money, and many more. Now the U.S. is not the only powerhouse in the cyberworld, Russia, China, Denmark, are also well known for their advancements in cybersecurity. To counter these powerhouses the worst ranked countries for cybersecurity are Iran, Belarus, and Tunisia. To my surprise I would have thought that more of the countries that deal with cybercrime often would have worse ranks but I also suspected lower income countries to also have lower rankings. I pictured more of richer countries due to the constant use of fast internet and many digital appliances but it also makes sense that since dealing with such issues so often you would find ways to neutralize the problem. I personally get at least 5 scam calls over the course of a month, maybe 4 spam emails, but for the aspect of emails that can hack or corrode your computer, I haven’t ran into that issue and I plan not to. I have had several family members have issues with cybercrime, my own grandmother had been wrongfully charged 5,000 dollars to her bank account for a purchase of three flat screen televisions to a select location in china. Thankfully, my grandmother had found justice and was faulted no penalty but she will never be the same again, I use to travel the internet freely but after that incident, our whole family had to move different from then on.
