Compare cybersecurity risks in the U.S. and another country.

When it comes to cybersecurity every country has their own way of doing it. In this article we will compare the cybersecurity risk of the United States versus all the other countries in the world. According to an article from Broadband Search, the United States ranks #2 among countries of being the most cyber secure. The one country that beat them out was France, and the three that followed the United States were Japan, United Kingdom and Singapore. They based this conclusion on six criteria. The six criteria’s were: Infection Rates, Attack Rates, Defense System, Legalization, Public Awareness, and International Cooperation. Infection Rate is based on how many devices in the country like computers, tablets and phones were infected with some type of malware or viruses. With Attack rates they go based on how frequent people are getting attacked and where are the origins of all these attacks within the country. Defense Systems is what hardware and software has the country implemented to help prevent these attacks. Legislation is based on the laws that have been implemented to help better cybersecurity, and also how those who commit these crimes will be punished. Public Awareness is on how well the regular ol citizen knows about cyber risk and was to avoid these types of risks. Lastly, International Cooperation is countries sharing their work and helping each other with investigations and practices, and sharing other resources. So what makes France higher than the United States in this ranking system. Well even though France has a high infection rate, France has one of the best legal frameworks and works internationally. The United States does have all of these. The reason that the United States did not make it number 1 according to them is that the U.S. has too many attacks coming from within the border compared to France.
