The questions is “why am I interested in cybersecurity?” I am interested in cybersecurity because growing up I have always taken classes that required information technology so I then I became more interested in the subject. Another reason I am interested in cybersecurity is because it is a growing field to work in, and also because I enjoy working with computers. Like I said it’s a growing field, so with that being said it can allow me to have an unlimited amount of growth and learning opportunities that can help me succeed. But on a lighter note I’ve always had a particular interest in cybersecurity due to what I have read about and what people in this field of work do. Cybersecurity is an interest to me because I like being able to solve problems and come up with solutions that can be helpful. I remember taking Computer Information Systems in high school and I really enjoyed it because of the work we were doing. I have interest in cybersecurity because of the working hours as well as the work conditions i.e., working from home. My final interest in cybersecurity comes from a financial aspect I know people say money shouldn’t be the reason but being financially secure. And being able to take care of myself doing as well as doing what I love and making sure I do it to my best satisfaction is always a top priority to me and I can’t perform to my best ability if I don’t have the financial means to do so. In conclusion, the reasons why I am interested in this field is because of how there is many different jobs to choose from as well as being able to use my skills to solve problems, being able to work from home, and the pay that comes with the job i.e., being financially secure.
