The way cybertechnology impacts the way that offenders and victims interact would be that now a days it is easier for an offender to get a hold of their victims. With the new advances in technology everyday it makes it easier for offenders to be able to harass their victims especially on social media all they have to do is make a new profile page or use someone that they know page. The impact between the two groups can be heightened when the offender wants to rob/ scam the victim. For example, they can ask the victim to send them money for things and then scam them and take their money. Or they can also hack into their accounts and wire money to their selves from the victims banking app or via their money sending app account.  The impact also influences how they can find their next victims especially via social media they can look at their tagged locations travel and impersonate somebody that is working wherever they are at and scam them, cyberstalk, and cyberbully them. This forever changing impact makes it easier for them to approach new victims and torment their past victims with the same or even worse tactics they have been using. Because of the impact between offenders and victims these crimes are usually committed when the offender doesn’t know the victims. They just want some form of monetary gain, and they don’t care who it is as long as they get it. These crimes take place on the internet rather than in person, it kind of makes it difficult to find the offender, because for the most part the offender is more than likely using a fake name and profile picture. When this happens it heightens the crime that can be committed, because nobody knows who they truly are and this allows them to make more accounts and find other victims.
