Three ways that computers have made the world safer and less safe would be through communication, education, and cybercrime. Communication through computers have made the world a safer place by allowing us to be able to spread awareness through computer systems. For example, if a child was missing, we would be able to receive an email on our computers or on our email’s home page about what is going on. As well as allowing us to see what else is going on in the world, not just in America, with the help of computers we are able to see and learn about how we can help other people across the globe. Such as sex slave trading in other parts of the world, femicides, and many other devilish things that are taking place in the world. Education is another benefit of what computers have done to make the world a safer place. The benefit of education through computers that would make the world safer would be that it has allowed us and younger children to be more alert and aware. Especially over the internet when it comes to playing games and talking with strangers online, computers have aided us when it comes to being safer in this world and the e-world by educating us on these certain situations. Computers have helped make the world safer and less safe at the same time when it comes to the topic of cybercrime. With the progression of computers, the risk of cybercrime continues to go up. The reason why I say that computers have made the world safer and also made it less safe when it comes to cybercrime would be, because even though we can learn from computers about cybercrime by searching the web we also can fall victim to cybercrime while also being on the web. Such as being stalked, hacked, and scammed even though computers can help us steer clear from those things they can also make us fall victim to them.
