My name is Arvin Thornton, and I am currently majoring in Cybersecurity. I currently live in Chesterfield, Virginia taking online classes in hopes of graduating in 2027.

Early Life/Background
I was born in Richmond, Virginia on August 19, 2004. I grew up with my mom, dad, and two sisters. We moved a lot when I was younger as I went to three different elementary schools, and two different high schools. These experiences has helped me be able to adapt to a different environment quickly. I played a lot of sports growing up like football, baseball, and basketball. I have always been good at working with a team and playing my role.

Career/Goals
Currently, I am Student with ODUGlobal. My professional or personal goals include graduating by 2027 with a Cybersecurity degree, and getting a job as a Cybersecurity Analyst. I am passionate about whatever I do in life, and I am working hard to be as successful as I know i can be.

Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work/school, I enjoy gaming, watching sports/anime, and making music. These activities allow me to unwind and relax when I am feeling stressed out. My favorite sports teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the Golden State Warriors. My entire family are Dallas Cowboys fans, so I became one early. Stephen Curry is the reason I started watching basketball and that’s why the Golden State Warriors would be my basketball team for life. My favorite anime is One Piece as I believe it is the greatest piece of fiction ever created. If you don’t believe me just watch the show or read the manga. I’ve been making music for four years now and it is my favorite thing to do. I don’t really talk about my emotions or feelings to people because I’d rather keep them to myself. When I make music that is my chance to let out whatever I’m feeling at the time and I have fun doing it.

Overall, I would describe myself as hardworking, creative, and just a cool guy. My journey so far has been shaped by family, friends, coaches, and other people that helps keep me motivated. I look forward to continuing to grow, learn, and pursue my dreams.
