The United States of America is a major developed economy, and it is a country that is very dependent on the internet. Therefore, our country is at an extraordinarily high risk to a cyber-attack at any time. Speaking of cyber-attacks, the United States is one of if not the highest country in the world with the most cybercrimes. Since 2005 according to statista.com the U.S has had 170 million sensitive records as well as 540 data breaches in 2020 alone. This is a very bad sign since the United States has one of the strongest militaries in the world and others countries can bypass our security and have full access to our nuclear codes and activate our war heads to destroy the country from the inside without having to fire missiles on our shores. We also are well aware that Russia is known for hacking into U.S. computers and almost breaching the pentagon. Which is the heart of our military.

China is another country that is at high risk of a cyber-attack. China is the world’s second largest economy and nuclear weapons state with the world’s second largest defense budget. Since china is the second largest country in the world, the number of nuclear codes and warheads are what can attract the eyes of most foreign spies. They can be hacked and launched across the world to cause global extinction in a matter of minutes. This can put all the countries in the world with big strong militaries at a huge disadvantage since other countries are known for having expert hackers and spies that breach the strongest of security from the inside and they would not know what hit them until it is too late. Other countries at high risk of a cyber-attack breach is Russia, China, Mexico, and Korea.
