It is said time and time again that society has become so dependent upon technology that it has become very difficult to imaging a world with no tech. Like think about it. 85 percent of people world wide are on their phone more than 8 hours of the day. Not only that but we use technology in the workplace and at school. Technology is growing nowadays at a rapid rate and it continues to evolve every second. New ideas and innovations are also being introduced every day as well. Due to this vast and rapid growth , it is getting tedious and rigorous for the governments around the world to catch up. An example of that is the lack of cyber laws that are used to counter act the cyber crime all across the internet. Another problem is that the planet earth does not have slightest idea of what power does technology posses. An example is when the United States nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The power that was used during that era was horrendous and since that era more nuclear warheads have been made. All it takes is one expert hacker group to access a superpower country’s codes and initiate launch sequence to anywhere in the world killing millions. Another lack of cyber laws in today’s society is that if this were in the hospitals or anything that has access to any of your personal records on file, then that could leave you vulnerable to insurance fraud and identity theft. Also in the banks, they could breach the banks and steal all the money in all the accounts that is linked to that particular bank and they could have it all to them selves and that bank would have to lead to bankruptcy. Do you now understand all the effects of cyber laws if we did not have them at where we need them most. It is beneficial and crucial that we establish cyber laws and have them everywhere because you never know what might happen.
