Why are you interested in cybersecurity technology?

I’m interested in cybersecurity because I love learning more about computers and how they are useful. It’s very interesting with the aspect of blocking unauthorized people trying to access your information. Another, cool aspect that makes me very interested is how many different aspects there are to cybersecurity. Most companies use electronics in some type of way in their business and especially with computers. Cybersecurity is continuously growing and evolving more and more each day. Another aspect is there is always work to be done in the field. Troubleshooting is a huge aspect, having internal investigations be done on the computers. Cybersecurity helpful for catching criminals and handling investigations when someone commits a crime these days. Learning to recover your system and doing an incident response, when something goes wrong. A huge aspect with computers and with cybersecurity is dealing with repairs and doing system upgrades. Cybersecurity is always changing and evolving with different forms of social media and ways to hack people accounts. Everyday there are new attacks that happen to people and businesses. Criminals will never go away; they will always be around. That is why I love the aspect of being a part of the cybersecurity field. Since I can be the reason to stop these criminals and work on preventing them to repeat the behavior. Everyday I feel like I will be challenged and learn how to solve new problems constantly. Which makes it so interesting in this field because I love learning new things and broadening my education in the field. The final aspect of why I’m so interested in cybersecurity is because new job positions are continuously coming out. Job titles that people never heard of are now such a huge part of the lives in the IT field. I really feel like we are now just touching on the surface of cybersecurity, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me in this field.
