Maslow’s Hierrachy of Needs describes that our needs can change over time. When we meet the lower-level needs then we will focus on upper-level needs. For example, we have basic needs: we all have computers, cellphones, printers, and/or smart wearable devices. Also, the basic security and safety will be attached to the basic devices, such as antivirus, antimalware, and firewall applications. Once we possess the basic needs, most of us do not just stay alone and we want to communicate and build relationships with others, so we install social media apps on our smart devices or computers. Through the applications, communicating with real-world friends or virtual friends, we can seek accomplishment. This is called psychological needs. The last needs are called self-fulfillment needs. Only a few of us will use computers or smart devices as a tool to achieve a fascinating goal. For example, some people can practice coding instead of playing games and will be programming experts.
