Media is a kind of social forces which refers to external social influences that shape an individual or group of individuals’ lived experiences. Throughout the video, as a cybersecurity student, it is easy to find that some movies propagate misinformation, all the misinformation molds the conceptualization of cybercrime has shaped and distorted our expectations of them as being dramatic, futuristic, and potentially dystopic (Wall, D), and that misleading information highlights the audience’s cyber fear. Also, some movies amplify the ability of hackers (The Fate of the Furious (2017)), which impacts the confidence of audiences in their modern life. Some of the cyber attacks in the movie are very realistic, so we can learn from the experience and avoid cyber-attack incidents.
