During the COVID pandemic, some items in the scale are hard to give an accurate answer to. Because the social environment is different from the normal, people do not have the chance to spend time with others. I want to spend less time on it, instead, I want to work out. But the COVID restraints normal activities outside, so I failed to quit social media.
Across the world, the number of users of social media is rapidly increasing, especially during the COVID pandemic. I think that people are feeling alone because of the quarantine, people need to communicate with other people to mitigate the feeling and social media is the best way to satisfy people’s needs. Also, during the pandemic, almost everything is moved online, such as shopping, studying, and entertainment. People can use social media to satisfy all the requirements.
