This article discusses the field of social cybersecurity. This field focuses on the cyber-mediated changes on human behavior. This article argues that information warfare is emerging and becoming a primary conflict. I definitely agree with this argument as cybersecurity and technology is rapidly advancing. Therefore, more individuals will use technology to benefit themselves and sabotage others. Social cybersecurity revolves heavily around an individual using technology to tamper with other people rather than their technology. Examples of this are using technology to trick others into revealing sensitive information, luring others into stealing data, etc. In my opinion, social cybersecurity is more deceptive than traditional cybersecurity as it exploits individuals psychologically.
