There is no beneficial motive that drives their reasoning. Boredom is ranked number 6 due to the fact that it is a completely selfish motive. The individuals that commit these crimes do it merely for fun. Entertainment is ranked number 5 as it is similar to the previous motive, boredom. Recognition is ranked number 4 because there is no beneficial purpose. Multiple reasons is ranked number 3 as some individuals commit cyberattacks because they feel that they need to to survive and also because they want to. Politics is ranked number 2 as it actually has a cause that drives it. Money is ranked number 1 due to the fact that many individuals struggle financially.
