A couple of the principles of science that relate to cybersecurity are relativism and determinism. Relativism is important because it allows you to look at how everything goes together. It also allows for us to understand that cybersecurity doesn’t only work on the technical solutions, but it can also give you an overall view of the social portion as well. Then there is determinism which explains the potential that hackers have based on the vulnerability of the systems that they are hacking. This takes on a proactive step into cybersecurity because they try and get rid of these issues or threats before they actually start popping up or minimizing the potential risks.
