The first one I would rank is For money as this is the main reason why a lot may do many breaches trying to take others’ information and steal their money as more crimes are becoming more problematic like blackmailing companies to release footage of their new products if they do not pay them a certain amount of money. Secondly, I would rank Revenge as this is also common many people hack to get revenge on many users con games such as Call of Duty and NBA2k with hack users because they lost a game. Third I would say Bordem because if anyone is bored hacking and taking one’s info should not help anyone with Bordem as it is a different things to do and this should not be one. Fourth I would say entertainment I can see how this is up there on the list many people want to see people in a struggling situation that it is hard to get out of like making someone drip in debt and releasing personal footage of people’s personal lives and medical records. Fifth would be recognition because a lot of people create groups like with insomniac games they threaten them to release footage and sometimes they just do this to get money but to also build their rep with other organizations. Sixth would be Political because many are on different sides and if you do not agree with one another they may try to make an attempt on someone’s information. Seventh would be Multiple reasons because you never know what one’s intention was for some of these issues and why they did it though all of these topics on the list you can see that there are multiple different reasons why people may tend to take part in these actions some may be entertainment, Political, Revenge, boredom, Recognition, For Money, and again multiple reasons.
