I personally think that the most severe violation online that can be made is searching for illegal things on the internet. As you do not know who is watching google keeps everything and even when you clear it from your search history it is not fully clear it only clears for you if a police investigator wants to check on your history for some odd reason if you got involved or a search is too specific it can draw attention to you. I think this is the most serious violation because it could lead to real crimes and potential harm to others. As I have a family member who went through this as they got into a lot of trouble with the law and it really did affect their future as of getting jobs it is hard for them because they look a this history and see these things they have done as it can put them at risk. If you are searching for something illegal, it is and can become very serious and dangerous. The second most serious violation in my own personal opinion is collecting information on children. This is terrible no one should be collecting any kind of info on children if you are not a doctor or there doctor or therapist and a regular individual that does not have experience with that why are you keeping this info on little children this is very odd of someone to do and this can and will lead to the children being harmed whether it be physically or through the internet as we know social media is very accessible with TikTok as this is a kids app. The third most serious violation is bullying and trolling, especially if it is constant and obviously meant to harm someone emotionally.
I have a friend who post TikTok videos on college people in the comments would talk about her and her videos and she said that is why she took down a lot of her videos and if these trolls and bullying are affecting a 19-year-old woman just imagine what it is doing to a child wanting to post on their life or just dancing as this can lead to a lot of emotional damage and real-life effects and the person being bullied may end up harming themselves or committing suicide as a result, as a lot of children and men suicide rates have been up due to bullying and mental health this is serious. The fourth most serious is the sharing of other people’s passwords, addresses, and photos. I have seen multiple times people sharing their passwords and with their boyfriend or girlfriend then after they break up they keep all that info and use it against them logging into these social media and etc causing many problems. Another violation, this can lead to suicide as well privacy is very vital to a person and should not be violated. As I come to an end on the fifth and final most serious, which is recording a VoIP call without anyone’s permission or approval. This is a breach of privacy that should be handled immediately as this is a serious problem even though many may not view it as one immediately.
