• Explain how the principles of science relate to cybersecurity.

In order to understand cybersecurity and the things that come into play for cybersecurity, maybe cyber-attacks and threats that could arise. You can use the principles to help assess and review what to do next. If you were to use Determinism, which basically means something caused this happen. You would need to understand what happened. With this, expert need to be able to analyze what caused this happened and how they can fix the issue from happening again.

Empiricism is a principle that means you should do testing to figure out and look at problem. In the cybersecurity world that comes to mean that it helps figure out the best way to go about the security measure as well as following the standards that are set out and making sure that all types of testing is done. You want to make sure that the new ideas that are being brought up have been tested to see if works and if it does not work that they can learn from their failure and why it failed so that is why Mutiple testings are done.

Parsimony is a principle basically says the simplest answer is always the best one in most cases. When that comes to cybersecurity means if you are trying to build or even protect a network that it should be put together as simple as possible. While at the same time not messing up the effectiveness or even how it works. If you were to do something that was more complex, that brings in more problems.

When it comes to Ethical Neutrality basically means that anyone testing something or looking at it should remain neutral to the research without taking a side. It goes into using the standards that are preset and following the codes of conduct. Making sure that anything that could be bad to a system or break code is followed to eliminate any reason for someone to question you about if it is personal or even bias in a situation.

When using these principles in the cyber world, you not only are able to figure out what the issue is, but you are able to evaluate and come at the situation thinking of different ways to attack the situation.
