Response: Movies distort hackers in an exaggerated way for entertainment on the big screen, I believe that media influences us to become aware of the dangers in victimization from hacking as part of cybersecurity but I also think it paints a false sense of reality. In order to be more authentic, movies shall shed a light on real issues within cybersecurity as some old movies also have painted our futuristic technology to be advancements we have not reached in the real world just yet. Like other films, this form of media influences our thoughts on cyber and may even motivate people to carry out hacks of their own with malicious intent such as committing a cyber breach.
