Journal 6

On a beautiful morning I came to work with a positive attitude like always. Walking into the building I noticed that it was an older woman that was waiting in line with almost 8 devices. As we began to open she walked straight to me. I began to ask her what was wrong with all her devices. It was 6 phones and 2 tablets. She told me that she was having problems with transferring data along with receiving cellular service from her provider. I began to acquire all the information I needed to get going. I noticed that she said her carrier was boost mobile. Unfortunately the tablets she purchased weren’t able to be used under boost mobile carrier. Her phones on the other hand were Verizon and I was able to connect into her account to see what the problem was. I noticed it said SOS on the top right corner of the phone giving me an indicator that it was not receiving service. After beginning to mess with the phone I remember from one of my previous customers that the phone was activated. It was just the phone cellular button was not activated in the settings. I turned on all the cellular services on all 6 phones and it began to work. She began to ask me if I could add the tablets to her Verizon account. I told her as long as they are not carrier financed I could set up the tablets under the Verizon account. I told her about the promo going on that if she upgraded her plan she could get all the tablets serviced for 50% off. To upgrade was only an additional $10 and she was instantly hooked on it. I made sure her tablets and phones were able to receive and make calls. She thanked me for helping her and solving her problems and gave me a positive survey.
