On a rainy Sunday afternoon I was expecting a customer who booked an appointment for her phone. She didn’t explain why or what needed to be done for her phones. Her appointment was at 3pm and she came at 2pm. Luckily she was the only person in my list for appointments so I began to work on her earlier than scheduled. Her phones were brand new and I didn’t see any problems with them at first. She began to explain that her phones were not getting cellular service. I began to attempt to make a call with the phone and then tried to call the phone with the best buy phone. She was correct that the phones were not receiving or giving off cellular service. I began to get all of her information about her cellular service and gave Verizon a call to see if it was a failed activation. They began to prompt me to a representative that could assist me with the issue. On Verizon end the phones were activated and good to go. I began to think about all the possible ways to fix the problem. I remembered working with another customer than sometimes if you take the SIM card out and put it back in it would work. After 5 mins of waiting it didn’t work and I went to the settings to see if the button was clicked on for cellular service. I’m glad I thought about it. The button wasn’t on and after all that within 2 mins the phone began to work. She began to thank me for helping her as she really needed them to work before traveling for work.
