Reflection Essay 3: Discussion & Final Meeting

Over the course of this semester, my group and I worked hard on our innovation, learning about the steps that entrepreneurs take to make an idea a potential reality. After we received our grades for our innovation proposals and shared the feedback we received with one another, we spent the remaining months of the course working on our Academic Paper. As questions would come up regarding the innovation, we would discuss it within our GroupMe chat room. During this process, I helped us figure out things such as what new features our innovation could include and what prices might be good for our target audience. As more questions came up, however, we decided to come together one last time to discuss these details further. In this meeting, I talked about how we should have the VPN service on top of our initial innovation to be more favorable to our customers. Similarly, my other group members discussed how we could advertise our services to our customers, as well as how we could gain revenue despite being a non-profit organization. In this meeting we also helped each other figure out what we should do for the Presentation Pitch Video, where Kello Morgan and I decided we would create PowerPoint presentations using a red, black, and white color palette. Once again, this meeting helped us stay on the same page and we concluded the meeting, reflecting on all the information we discussed and got back to work on our papers, finishing these papers shortly after. Overall, I believe these individuals and this course helped me learn about entrepreneurship and how to improve an already existing innovation to provide a better experience for individuals.
