- What are the connections between the disciplines addressing entrepreneurship at ODU?
The connections between the disciplines addressing entrepreneurship at ODU is, a lot of the disciplines are usable to an entrepreneur. To be an entrepreneur you have to be able to think from many angles and from different views. So, no matter what discipline it is, it will be able to help in your entrepreneurship. Regardless of what your major is, anyone can be an entrepreneur. - Is entrepreneurship an art or science?
In my opinion entrepreneurship is both an art and a science. I first say entrepreneurship is a art because it is based around how creative one can be. It is being able to create something that is innovative is what makes entrepreneurship an art. I think it is a science because people are not born entrepreneurs it is learned through a process. It depends on the approach or perspective one takes. - How is failure good?
Failure is an opportunity. Failure is a good thing because It shows us that we still have room left to improve. It gives us a chance to take a step back to reconsider and return stronger with more significant rational decision-making. The things that can be learned from failing are priceless and should not be taken for granted because it should be a learning experience not something to beat yourself up about. - What have I learned from failing?
I have learned over the years from my many failures that the prime thing to do is persevere. Being able recover from a failure is one of the greatest accomplishment one can achieve. It taught me resiliency, which is an important life skill to build. I have learned that failure humbles a person. Being knocked down off the high horse is an important reality check everyone should have. - What ethical issues might arise related to what I am working on?
I think taking credit for others work would be a major ethical issue that might arise. I do not mean taking my group mates work or just signing my name on the assignment, I am talking about citing my sources properly. It is so easy to take someone else work and making sure to cite something if I use it will be something I look out for.
