Week 12
Andriy Slynchuk has described eleven things Internet users do that may be illegal. Review what the author says and write a paragraph describing the five most serious violations and why you think those offenses are serious.
Five most serious violations our unofficial streaming services, faking your identity online, bullying and trolling, sharing passwords, addresses, or photos of others, and update information about children. When it comes to unofficial streaming people make money of the amount of views and money spent, if no one is buying your movies, TV shows, music, and games this prevents the creators from making money. If they cannot make money all their product it will be hard for them to make progress. Faking your identity online is a form of fraud. Faking like you are someone else to get money and information is dangerous. This is a dangerous act to those information you are using or stealing. You could get them in federal trouble. Bullying and trolling is dangerous and could get you in a lot of trouble as well as getting you in jail. This is not good because cyberbullying could carry on a whole day and night. This could cause someone to harm themselves or others. I chose sharing passwords and addresses as well. This is because password and addresses are created individually to protect information and your data. If those are shared with the wrong people you could get and trouble or be in danger. Also all photos are not meant to be shared by everyone or seen by everyone so if they wanted to be shared don’t you think they would have shared it.
