This short arm of predictive knowledge does not call for a long arm of predictive knowledge meaning that the realization or violation of human good takes place at each occurrence. We should approach the development of technology in a way which we assess the ethics of these developments periodically, since modern technology introduces new actions by humankind that can lead to new ethical dilemmas. Human action has a direct impact on the ethics of technology since techne is neutral and it is humankind that impacts whether technology is ethical. It is the way that we use technology that produces negative or positive ethical impacts in our community or lives. We should develop technology to aid humankind, the actions of humans should be compatible with the permanence of genuine human life. We should develop cyber-policy and infrastructure in the same manner, it should be developed to aid humankind as well as to add to the permanence of humankind. Cyber-policy and cyber-infrastructure should add positively to the future of humankind, developers should weigh the “good and bad” outcomes of development. Then developers should decide from a morally ethical standpoint, whether developments add to or take away good from society.
