I am interested in cybersecurity because in a world that’s growing in technology and cyber attacks being more and more common. Also, cybersecurity is a role that is always needed and are in high demand. I want to protect peoples and businesses information from outside attackers that will have a negative effect on them. It is important because almost everyone had to have experienced a fake email or text message about something fake. I know that they can be paid pretty good so that is a plus. I always wanted to make some kind of software like this. Mainly interested in making software that prevents attackers or malware from getting in. Being an ethical hacker sounds cool, but I feel like being a blue person and preventing people from getting in is more appealing to me. I am a problem solver and enjoy doing that so finding out what is the best way to counter something sounds good. I want to be good in the cybersecurity field. I do not know how complicated this field will be, but I want to be prepared. I know that in this field you need to be good at math and I would say that I am good at it.

This field seems so exciting to be in. All the people I will be able to meet, and the new experiences seem so enticing. Protect people’s information from being stolen when they are using a website and buying from a company. Old Dominion is also good at teaching cybersecurity to people and why not I want to be a good securest and if this information is known for it that is great. I may not know a lot about this field but I am willing to learn more about it so I can get a job in this field and be a CEO.
