You could say that cyber technology has created more ways for workplace deviance to occur. Especially in technology heavy fields, since deviance would occur mainly on technology when people are secluded or by themselves, it can be harder to detect, enticing those to commit it more frequently than in other jobs. Some deviant actions that can occur can be non-work-related internet use, data theft and fraud, invading employee privacy, time-theft (manipulating work hours), or exploiting unauthorized access to sensitive work areas. While these examples can vary depending on the security level of the person committing them, nonetheless, they can still occur and is something that organizations and companies should crack down on.
