About Me and My Major

My name is Dahlia Grace Miller. I am from Fredericksburg Virginia. I choose Old Dominion University because it was one of two options for dental hygiene schools in the state of Virginia and VCU was too in the city for me. I also decided to go to this school because my ex-boyfriend told me that I was not allowed to go to college unless I went to the one in our hometown. I love working with horses, taking trips to Disney world, and creating things. I also am a retired volleyball player, I played volleyball for 9 years, 7 of those years I was playing both school volleyball as well as travel volleyball.

My intended major is dental hygiene. I chose this major from my experience in my two year class dental assisting class I took both junior and senior year of high school. I found a lot of joy in cleaning teeth, setting all the stations up, taking x-rays, taking impressions, pouring the impressions, and using the vacuum to make whitening trays.
