Weekly Response Journals Wk 2

Doing weekly journal responses helped me understand the stories better, read widely (SLO 1), and think more deeply about the themes and characters. I also enjoyed having the freedom to express my own opinions and connect the readings to my experiences.

Othello: Group Activity

Completing this group activity helped me see and analyze different perspectives and understand parts of the story I missed on my own (SLO 3). I also enjoyed talking through scenes with others because it made the play feel more engaging.

LitFest Low Stakes Q’s

I enjoyed working on this assignment because of how I was able to make real life connections to what I was reading. Low stakes assignments in general helped me to widen my reading and explore my ideas without feeling pressured (SLO 1).
