How does the existence of cyber technology affect workplace deviance?

There are a myriad of methods in which people today can use technology for improper conduct in the workforce. For starters, those with proper knowledge, access, or equipment, can very easily hack into and damage vital data and systems remotely, preventing themselves from being caught. There are many instances of cyberattacks being the responsibility of a disgruntled employee who knew their way around the companies systems. Many of those instances are also the result of the company failing to properly handle their systems (i.e. forgetting to revoke access from a fired employee). Alternatively, the various methods that one can use to mask their identity, such as VPNs and spoof emails, can lead to instances of blackmail, harassment, bullying, and use of inappropriate services while on the job.
