Interpersonal Communication

Participating in class discussions has helped me develop both my writing and reading skills. Sharing my thoughts and engaging in meaningful conversations with classmates challenged me to think critically and express my ideas clearly. Through these interactions, I learned to be respectful and openminded when responding to others, creating a more collaborative and inclusive environment.

Using tools like Duolingo was also beneficial for reinforcing my vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structures. It provided a structured platform for independent practice and allowed me to track my progress. However, I realized that relying only on Duolingo wasn’t enough for building conversational fluency. To improve further, I recognized the importance of engaging in real conversations and authentic language use.

Looking back, I would approach these activities with more intention in the future. While I did well in discussions and expanding my vocabulary, I could have sought out additional resources outside of class to enhance my learning. I also found that language exchange partners or conversation groups would be valuable for practicing spontaneous speaking.

Overall, these activities have been essential in improving my communication skills. They’ve helped me grow both in written and spoken language. The challenges I faced made me more adaptable and resilient, while my strengths motivated me to keep working toward proficiency. Going forward, I plan to focus on a mix of structured practice, real conversations, and diverse learning resources to continue progressing.
