What inspired you to get into your current field? She always had a passion for taking care of people. Due to her upbringing and her time in the military
How did you get to this current job position? What path did you take?
It was hard for her to get to work at Veteran Affairs. I ultimately needed a bachelor’s degree because an associate’s was not enough.
What are your basic roles and responsibilities? Manages primary care for veterans and Advocates for their health needs
What is your favorite (or most rewarding) aspect about the job? To be able to advocate for and link veterans to the healthcare system, which brings her fulfillment.

The politics that happens behind the scenes dealing with patients backrounds and their insurance.

It takes a toll on you and have to take into consideration of the patients situation because this is the patients most traumatizing event in their
What advice would you give to someone getting into the health field?
Really sit down and pray about it and find out is this field for you and are you doing it for the right reasons
Something you have learned/taken away from this interview?
Something I have learned from the interview is that health professions comes with a lot. Lots of lows and lots of highs with the workload and management but you must come back to your why at the end of the day to remind yourself why you are doing it
