Cerebral palsy is muscular condition that makes ambulating difficult without the use of canes. Additionally, my brain absorbs excess cerebral spinal fluid which causes hydrocephalus. However, my conditions do not define my being. I was a volunteer at the Children&#8217;s Hospital of the King&#8217;s Daughters for four years from 2018 to 2022, and I recently received the 2022 HealthcareHero Award.
