I was born with cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus. Cerebral palsy is a muscular condition that makes ambulating difficult without canes. Additionally, my brain absorbs excess cerebral spinal fluid, which causes hydrocephalus. However, my conditions do not define my being. I volunteered at the Children\u2019s Hospital of the King\u2019s Daughters for four years, from 2018 to 2022, and I recently received the 2022 HealthcareHero Award.
