During this online SPAN 101 course, there were no outside applications or exploration activities due to it being an asynchronous summer course at ODU. However, there were many experiences that helped me learn about the Spanish language and culture and left me wanting to learn more about it.

I would love to experience the Spanish celebrations and festivals. There is such a rich culture and lifestyle that is so different than here in the United States. I would also like to travel to a Spanish speaking country to be immersed in the language and culture as a whole. Experiencing even the workday and flow of life would be interesting and seeing the attitudes and mentalities of different cultures is something that I would be lucky to experience.
