I am Danae Harper. I am a Women’s and Genders Studies and Philosophy double major at Old Dominion University. I love learning about the world, people, and how we interact in different systems of society. I want to make a change and help people whenever I can. My goals are to be able to connect with others and create change together. I aspire to work with non-profits and community based organizations in the future. Or maybe something completely different, who knows!

I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts but love traveling and gaining new experiences. I enjoy nature, art, music, coffee, and staying active. I believe in being a lifelong learner with a growth mindset and trying new things by having an open mind- if one thing doesn’t work out, it probably wasn’t meant to be. Learn from it and keep moving! I hope to overall have a positive impact on others.
