For me essay two was helpful for me in that it allowed me to look deeper into my habits and personality. It helped to relies just how stubborn I had been about seeking help when I needed it. It encouraged me to go seek more help for the classes that I was struggling in. I found great help in my friends that are in the Engineering Living Learning Community. Overall, I scored similarly to essay one. I improved in conventions and managed to get a three, but I went down in clarity and syntax. The essay was not as interesting to write as the first essay, but it wasn’t bad. I found it somewhat difficult to meet the word count and had to try and over word in some places. This is something I always struggle with as I am very to the point and try to avoid extra info that I don’t need.  All together this class is rather dull, I am not an English person, that’s my sisters forte. I am good at talking to people and to groups, but I find it hard to put my words on to paper. I also found out that I had credit for this class from an AP class I took in High School, but I was not informed that I had received the credit. This somewhat got on my nerves, but I got over it, realizing there wasn’t much I could do. Hopefully I got it all worked out, so we don’t have the confusion again. All the essays so far have been somewhat odd for me in that they require me to write about myself, which I generally try to avoid. In high school I only on rare occasions had to write specifically about myself.
