Hello! My name is Danielle and I’m a senior at Old Dominion University. I’ve been working through my degree for some time as I’ve lived an abnormal and adventurous life up till this point. I started studying Exercise Science in my early 20’s and proceeded to get married and move with my then husband to China for him to further his career. Fast forward 8 years and I am back in the US, and working to complete my degree in psychology with a hope to one day pursue a career as a therapist/counselor. During my time in China I recognized not only the importance of maintaining and improving ones own physical health, in terms of fitness, but also mental health. I found myself doing lots of work in different areas of development, leadership, vision and goals work and coaching. This lead me to return to the US and pursue my degree in psychology so I could go on to pursue even greater things and impact others in an even more meaningful way.
I live in Arlington, Virginia with my 9 year old dog, Banksy. I enjoy working out at a local crossfit gym, running, riding my bike, drinking coffee and going to outdoor music shows. I have recently picked photography back up as a side project while I finish school. Big dream currently is to continue to develop my business in the area of leadership/development coaching and work for myself until I am finished with my masters.
